Weather

Mexico City’s temperature in November ranges from 8°C to 22°C. The city has an altitude of 2,235 metres above sea level.

Electricity

The main voltage in Mexico is 110 volts. Please bring an adaptor.

Insurance

You are advised to arrange your own travel insurance to cover medical expenses and all other risks. The organizers will not be held liable for damage or loss of luggage or personal belongings or for injury, loss or damage of any nature caused to participants or their accompanying persons.

Congress venue

The Congress will be held at the Sheraton Centro Histórico, Avenue Juárez No 70, Col Centro, México City DF 06010 .

Airport transfers

You can purchase a ticket in the airport for an authorised taxi (a recommended company is Sitio 300). The cost is about $200 pesos.

On-site registration

The registration desk will be located on level 4 of the Sheraton Centro Histrico. Registration will commence at 12 noon on Sunday.

Shopping

Shops and department stores in Mexico City are open every day of the week from 9 am to 10 pm. Zona Rosa and Polanco are major shopping malls in Mexico City that also offer art galleries, antique shops, jewellery stores and craft shops.
